Our unique investment process starts from the 11 Sustainable Investment Goals we have defined.
ATLAS rigorous investment process starts with proprietary ESG Research and Impact assessment to define an investable universe of companies which are sustainability leaders.
We have concentrated portfolios of positions balancing conviction of the investment team, both in terms of impact and potential returns.
Companies in the portfolio fall within 3 categories:
Major companies paving the way on sustainability in their industry and leading transformation of their sectors.
Companies which enable pioneers’ transformation. They are often B-to-B, offering innovative solutions to the different sustainability challenges major companies are facing in their value chains.
Innovative companies which are sustainable-by-design, disrupting existing production or consumption modes and bringing a positive contribution to society or the environment.
Expert panels
At the heart of ATLAS strategy, we leverage collective intelligence as a catalyst for positive change.
We have set up a pioneering process engaging with industry Expert Panels to review and enrich our systematic ESG research. These Expert Panels are composed of global sustainability business leaders from industries related to each of ATLAS 11 Sustainable Investment Goals. All panel members are volunteers, free from conflict of interest, and committed to promote responsible investing as a force for good.
Engagement
We lead constructive activism by engaging with management teams of the companies we invest in.
Beyond direct engagement, we use other means to foster ESG progress such as taking part in coalitions of Investors to campaign on specific social or environmental themes with a focus on climate action and human rights . We believe in constructivism as a powerful way to drive a positive impact.
COLLECTIVE INVESTORS INITIATIVES
Atlas takes part in major investors initiatives dedicated to advancing reponsible investment or to enhance the power of collective shareholders action.
For instance, Atlas is a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and of the CDP.
